Mohammad Mahdee-uz Zaman (Apu)
Mohammad Mahdee-uz Zaman (“Apu”) is a global technology executive, AI strategist, and innovation leader with more than three decades of experience across startups, Fortune 500 enterprises, public-sector agencies, and academic institutions. Currently Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Cybage, he leads global cloud, data, and AI modernization initiatives that help organizations transition to AI-first operating models. His career spans senior leadership roles at Amazon, Dell, Verizon, and CenturyLink, where he drove enterprise-wide digital transformation, scaled mission-critical cloud services, and advised federal, state, and local governments on adopting cloud, data, and AI to improve public services. Mo has played an influential role in the education and innovation ecosystem as well, shaping digital skills and future-ready curricula at institutions including Daffodil International University, George Mason University, St. John’s University, Rutgers, NJIT, CodersTrust, and Washington University of Science and Technology. His commitments extend far beyond industry—he founded the NASA Space Apps Challenge in Bangladesh, mentors startups globally, supports SME and enterprise leadership teams, and speaks internationally on AI, digital transformation, and public innovation policy.
As a volunteer member of the MillionX Founding Council, Apu brings a powerful blend of global industry leadership, ecosystem-building experience, and a deep commitment to inclusive technological progress. His lifelong work of enabling organizations, governments, and academic institutions to adopt cloud and AI aligns directly with the MillionX mission of nurturing a million 10x minds and equipping Bangladesh to compete in an AI-driven global economy.
