Jan M. Rumi

Jan M. Rumi is an accomplished international business leader, diplomat, and management consultant with over 25 years of diverse global experience spanning technology, operational strategy, and civic leadership. Currently serving as the Honorary Consul of Morocco in the State of Hawaii, he actively works to build economic and cultural bridges, connecting Moroccan government and business sectors with leaders across Hawaii, the continental United States, and the Pacific Basin. With a strong foundational background in technology and business systems, Jan’s career includes high-impact leadership roles, notably serving as the senior manager and business advisory services practice leader for Grant Thornton LLP in Honolulu, where he also directed the Minority Business Development Center. An entrepreneur at heart, he co-owns and serves as president of a management consulting firm and a social services enterprise based in Hawaii.

Deeply committed to empowerment, youth development, and social progress, Jan believes that combining strong operational foundations with civic engagement is essential for nurturing the next generation of global citizens. His dedication to community is reflected in his deep involvement with numerous non-governmental organizations, including serving as a zone chair for the Hawaii Lions Clubs, director of the Lions Club of Honolulu, and treasurer of Read To Me International. As a thought leader and author, he co-authored Wising Up – A Youth Guide to Good Living and regularly contributes insights to local media and Hawaii Public Radio. Bringing a rare blend of diplomatic insight, corporate governance, and passion for community building to the MillionX Founding Council, Jan is focused on helping expand horizons for young minds, driving forward initiatives that empower talent to compete and thrive on the global stage.
